Since this year my mom turned 60, we decided to do something special! We we sisters planned a few surprises--Jackie and Tyler helped plan but couldn't fly out for the party. Such a bummer. Dad met us in Sandy where we surprised mom with all the girls. We went to a place called the Paint Mixer in Sugarhouse and did a step by step painting of the Polar Express. It was so fun. One of our favorite things about it was the table of drunk elementary teachers next to us. We could not stop laughing!!!! We got home and played games and then surprised Mom with Suzie & Chris and Dale and Marilyn. Between everyone we made/bought 60 Christmas ornaments with memories about mom. All of the grandkids, her brothers and sister, and Grandma and Grandpa Christensen all shared a memory with an ornament to go with it. It was such a fun day!! We have the greatest mom.
