Sledding--sort of

Last Saturday we woke up to beautiful weather. I am not complaining about a mild winter--however I will 100% complain if there is snow in April or May or June! Since we haven't been sledding at all this winter we decided to go find a place to go. We read online about a sledding hill at Wasatch State Park, so we decided to head up that way. There was hardly any snow, adn turns out we went to the wrong visitors center, and the guide directed us to a hill in the middle of a neighborhood. We went ahead and went sledding--but there wasn't a ton of snow and weeds were totally popping through the ground--fortunately there was enough to get us down the hill, thus avoiding disappointed children! It was so nice to do something outside!
Poor Benson was having some allergy issues on top of his itchy exzema skin. His poor eyes were droopy and watery the whole time, and his little face was cracked and bleeding. Next stop for him--the allergist.

We had a good laugh on the way home when we drove past the visitors center that we were looking for to begin with. The hill looked a little better--but honestly not much! Maybe next year the snow will be better!

We accidentally found a cool sledding hill last Saturday too. The boys didn't have sleds, so they just slid down the ice hill on their bellies and bottoms.
Bensons exzema is sad! My neighbors kids both have it...their trigger? Eggs. Hope you get some good answers!
