13 1/2 years ago when Chris and I were just about to get engaged, he went on a trip to Hawaii with his brother Trevor. I was so bummed the whole time he was gone that I wasn't with him. He promised that the next time he went he would take me with him.

Just shy of 13 years of marriage, 4 kids, 9 years of medical training, and 3 1/2 years of medical practicing later, this past week that promise was fulfilled. We just got back from a most fabulous trip to Oahu and I love this guy even more today than I did then! I can't wait to share all the pictures from our trip!
