My good friend has a son serving a mission in the Philippines. A mom from that mission headed up a service project to fill Christmas boxes for missionaries in the Philippines that were natives and came from poverty. We had the opportunity to do a sister missionary box and it was by far one of my favorite experiences. While I was shopping for the box I kept having the impression that I need to buy art paper. When I shared that experience with my kids, each of them, without being asked, went to their rooms and came out with something brand new of their own that they wanted to send as well. It was such a cool family experience and I loved a little bit of Christmas in September.
