Georgia Aquarium

For the last few months we have been wanting to go back down to the beach, but since it has gotten a little colder, we bailed on that idea and decided to go to Atlanta. Our kids think staying in a hotel is the greatest thing ever, and poor Spencer actually thought we were moving--do you think we moved around enough this year?? Anyways, we got one with a pool so the kids could swim. And even though the water was freezing (the heater on the indoor pool was not working) they swam their little hearts out. We had dinner with Trevor, Roxanne, and Keller on Friday night, and then on Sat. morning Spencer was awake by 5:30 am AL time wanting breakfast--his other favorite part of staying in a hotel. Both of the kids like to sample everything and think it is so great that you can pick anything you want. Then we went to the Georgia Aquarium which was so fun. They had 4 giant beluga whale, a glass enclosed tunnel where the fish and sharks swam over and around you, a great barrier reef exhibit, penguins, stingrays, play areas--it was so fun!! And then we went to IKEA before we came home. I have had a little list of things that I have been wanting to get from their since August, so I was very excited that we finally made it there!!
