Our Talented Kids

Last night was our ward talent show. Kennedy played a little song on the piano. She did great and we were so proud of her for getting up in front of so many people and playing. She has only been taking lessons for about 6 weeks, and we are really impressed with how much she is learning. She was so nervous last night, but she did great.
Spencer originally was going to do an air guitar/dance number to the tune of a song from the upcoming High School Musical 3, then a few days ago changed his mind to skateboard tricks, then the day before the talent show changed his mind again to scooter tricks. When he got there and realized he was going to be on carpet, he was a little worried but he did great. I am glad the carpet was there to keep him from flying off the stage. At home he and K go flying across our driveway and lately have been riding with 1 leg on the handle bars, so I was glad for the small carpeted space!! Anyways, here they are on video.

Addie didn't show off her talents--although as proud parents who think our children are the greatest, we do think she has a lot--but she did enjoy clapping for everyone.

What talent! I love that kids are so brave and willing to share their talents! Too bad adults aren't always so willing!
