This winter has felt exceptionally long. It's been record breaking freezing, winter is always busier for Chris, and we have just been stuck inside. A few weeks before spring break Spencer asked if we could "please just go somewhere!!!" I think we must be on the go a lot more than I realize because my kids don't know how to stay home very well!! Needless to say we were all counting down the days until Spring Break. We decided to rent a condo on the beach and it worked out perfect! We were at Imperial Beach--we had never been before and did not realize it was right on the border of Mexico. You could totally see Tijuana. It was a very low populated beach which was awesome and there were insane amounts of shells from sand being drudged in to raise the shoreline. The kids found sand dollars like crazy! Addie and Benson both ended up with strep so it was nice being so close to the condo--not everyone had to stay inside with sick kiddos! We flew kites, played baseball, built sandcastles. It was such a great week!
